Full Festival Description:
|
The Independent Film Festival of Boston enters its fifth year in 2007. In 2006 the festival had over 20,000 people in attendance. The festival has been named the best film festival in the Boston area by the leading Boston newspapers as well as by the book The Ultimate Film Festival Survival Guide. Feature documentary filmmakers are offered transportation to and from the festival via sponsor JetBlue Airways. Accepted filmmakers are provided with luxury hotel accomodations at Boston's finest hotels.
Distributors who have attended over the last four years include 7th Art Releasing, Sundance Channel, IFC, and Thinkfilm. There are nightly parties and 4-8 panel discussions during the festival.
