Pros: The director does a good job putting it together.
Cons: Could have been a little shorter.

I am almost a TRekkie, I will watch the show when ever I can. These people want to live the Federation Lifestyle. I thought the interviews with the fans were more interesting then the ones with the stars. This love and admiration for a show and its ideals that had a short life span and was not that popular the first time around is interesting. See it, maybe your a trekkie too.

Pros: Listening to these great musicians
Cons: Would like more intervideos.

Ry Cooder goes to Cuba, looking for and finding the roots of Cuban music on the streets and in the old delapidated dance and music halls of Havana. In this once beautiful city that got left behind by the global economy, the crumbling stone buildings and pre-revolutionary Chevys, Fords and Dodges have aged into a pure dream world. So have the musicians, who still look great, play beautifully, although most are in their 70s and 80s. The Concert is not to be missed. The interviews are interesting. This film is not to be missed.

Pros: Lots of action and interviews
Cons: It was filmed in the 1970s

I was a little bored, while it may have been good in 1971 it misses badly today. They try to cover a little to much, and the film sequences look old, but the parts with Steve McQeen are interesting. If you like motorcycle racing and have time, see it, otherwise take a pass.

Pros: The music.
Cons: Not enough music.

I am not sure what I expected of this film, but I was a little disappointed. I like the man's music but the film was a little long and uneven. His music as always is great.
