Pros: Scenes are incredibly realistic.
Cons: A little gory.

This film will make you believe that this is still going on today. It seems as no corners were cut here. No expence was saved. The narration was terrific, and real set the tone and pulled you in. As a matter of fact the whole set of 3 films, of which this is the third were great. Educational in a way that kids and adults will not realize what they are learning. (Maybe a little to violent for very young kids).

Pros: Shows the personal hardships and danger involved.
Cons: Can get old fast if this is not your interest.

This movie really shows you what is involved in climbing a mountain. I never realized the amount of equipmeent that is needed to climb a mountain like Everest. The amount of preparation that is needed or the actual time involved in the climb. This is no weekend for the casual climber. There is real danger even to those who have done this sort of thing before. If you have ever thought of trying it, this movie will either make you do it, or forget it. I liked the camera angles as well as the close ups of the climbers.

Pros: kids grasp intolerance
Cons: a little slow at times

The Whitwell Middle School in a rural part of Tennessee is the setting for this film about educators trying to help kids grasp the concept of what the Holocaust really was. In an attempt to grasp the concept of six-million victims, which is an extraordinary number to anyone but especially kids, the students decide to collect six-million paper clips to better understand the enormity of this crime against humanity. One paperclip for each victim. The film also details how the students metand spoke to Holocaust survivors from around the world and how the experience changes them and their community for ever.

Pros: Chillingly accurate.
Cons: There are none,

The way the Enron tale of deceit is unraveled and reported shows the thoroughness of Gibney. He does an outstanding job showing us step by step how it was orchestrated by the insiders. The Skilling recording, The Fastow video taken at Merrill Lynch. This movie shows why there cannot be enough SEC oversight on these massive corporate entities. Not only for the investors sake, but for the employees who lost everything. This film will make you think twice before you invest in stock again.

Pros: An in depth look into the Hassidic community.
Cons: Not for everyone.

Takes you inside of a community that does not let outsiders in. You see them on the streets but you know nothing of their ways until you see this film.
